Measles Alert: Unvaccinated Minnesota Children at Risk as Cases Surge

ST. PAUL, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Minnesota health officials have confirmed three new measles cases in unvaccinated children this week, occurring in Anoka, Hennepin, and Ramsey counties. One case was reported on Monday, followed by two more on Thursday, with two of the children requiring hospitalization. The Minnesota Department of Health warns that initial symptoms of measles include high fever, cough, runny nose, and watery eyes, followed by a rash that spreads from the head to the rest of the body. This year, Minnesota has recorded 15 measles cases, marking an increase compared to previous years.
