WADENA, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) – A major drug bust in Wadena County has led to federal charges against five men, with authorities seizing an estimated $1 million worth of methamphetamine, cocaine, and heroin.
Bill Rude, 62, and Robert Anderson, 38, both of Wadena, were arrested along with Aaron Heifort, 28, of Clitherall, and Carlos Valdovinos-Trejo, 27, of St. Paul.
A federal arrest warrant has been issued for another St. Paul man still at large. Investigators seized 25 pounds of meth, three pounds of cocaine, and two and a half pounds of heroin.
The investigation involved the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office, West Central Drug Task Force, Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, and Drug Enforcement Administration.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office will prosecute the case.
