Massive 4-Car Pileup in St. Paul Sends Teen to Hospital in Critical Condition | trfnews.i234.me

Saint Paul, Ramsey County (trfnews.i234.me) – A multi-vehicle rear-end crash on northbound Highway 52 at Plato Boulevard left one teenager critically injured and sent multiple others to the hospital on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 5:07 p.m.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the chain-reaction collision involved four vehicles in dry road conditions.

  • Joseph Steven Holl, 46, of Mounds View, was driving a 2001 Chevy Silverado and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Najma Farah Hajisalad, 41, of Rochester, was behind the wheel of a 2018 Honda Odyssey and was also injured. Three passengers were in her vehicle:

    • Hannah Rashid Mursal, 16, suffered life-threatening injuries

    • Shaza Rashid Mursal, 19, and Adey Farah Qoarane, 86, both had non-life-threatening injuries

  • Francisco Niziyimana, 30, of St. Paul, driving a 2009 Pontiac Vibe, was uninjured.

  • Mary Portesan Thiel, 66, also from St. Paul, was driving a 2022 Toyota Sienna and was uninjured.

All injured parties were transported to Regions Hospital. Alcohol was not involved.
