Pennington County (trfnews.i234.me) — Alexander Aehlert is currently being held at the Pennington County Jail after being arrested on serious drug-related charges. Aehlert, who was taken into custody on March 21, 2025, is facing a felony charge of 3rd Degree Drug Possession under Minnesota Statute 152.023.2(a)(4).
According to jail records, Aehlert is accused of possessing a Schedule I or II narcotic, LSD, MDA, or MDMA within a school, park, or public housing zone — an offense that carries enhanced penalties due to the protected location.
Aehlert is being held without bail, and his court proceedings will take place in District Court, though a specific court date has not yet been listed.
