Pennington County (trfnews.i234.me): Man Cited for Trespassing at Thief River Falls Walmart

A Thief River Falls man has been cited for trespassing after police say he entered Walmart despite being banned from all company stores.

According to the Thief River Falls Police Department, officers responded to a report of a trespassing incident at the Thief River Falls Walmart at about 9:41 p.m. on September 26.

The suspect, identified as 31-year-old Branden Wayne Rausch of Thief River Falls, allegedly entered the store even though he was under a trespass order that prohibited him from entering any Walmart locations through December.

The citation states that the trespass order was issued after Rausch was previously involved in a theft incident at the Walmart in Dilworth, Minnesota.
He now faces a misdemeanor citation for violating the terms of that order.

No additional criminal charges were reported in connection with this latest incident.
Police said Rausch was cooperative at the time of contact, and no property damage or theft occurred during his visit to the store.

Authorities remind residents that ignoring a trespass order is a criminal offense that can lead to further legal consequences.
Businesses use these orders to prevent repeat offenses and protect property.
