Man Arrested for Disorderly Conduct at Thief River Falls Walmart

Pennington County, MN (trfnews.i234.me)—On December 8, 2024, at approximately 6:30 a.m., law enforcement responded to a report of disorderly conduct at the Walmart located in Thief River Falls. The individual involved, identified as 38-year-old Robert Leonhard Chute, was arrested and cited for disorderly conduct.

According to the police report, Chute was observed running barefoot through the store, vocally engaging with an unidentified female customer. He also entered areas designated for employees only and simulated possessing a concealed weapon beneath his shirt. After exiting the store, Chute continued to cause disturbances by shouting at customers in the parking lot and striking the window of an occupied, locked vehicle. Upon questioning, Chute admitted to using methamphetamine before the incident.
