Mahnomen, Minnesota ( trfnews.i234.me ) – Authorities have released details about a Thursday afternoon crash in Mahnomen involving a semi and a pickup.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports the crash happened at about 4:30 p.m. on August 28 at the intersection of Highway 59 and Highway 200. A northbound Mack semi, driven by 25-year-old Ryan Alexander Shamberg of Erskine, collided with a pickup crossing the intersection.
The pickup’s driver, 49-year-old Eric Daniel Baker of Deer River, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported for medical care. The driver of the semi was not injured.
Authorities confirmed that both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, and alcohol was not a factor in the collision.
The Mahnomen Fire Department and local emergency responders assisted at the scene. The Minnesota State Patrol is continuing its investigation into the crash.
