Latest Update: Identities of Victims in Babbitt, Minnesota Double Homicide Revealed

BABBITT, MN (trfnews.i234.me) Police in Babbitt, Minnesota have identified the victims of a double homicide in that town over the weekend. The suspect, Roger Beldo is in jail.
we have an update regarding a double homicide in babit Minnesota north of uh duth up in the Iron Range on October 28th police have now identified the victims this from police chief Michael McGregor on October 28th at approximately 11:41 p.m. babbit police received information from the duth police department involving involving an individual they were in contact with who had stated he had killed his two roommates in the city of babot babbit police officers responded to the residents at 38 fur Circle and discovered two deceased people later identified as uh Clifford Johnson 78 and Christine Johnson age 79 both of babbit the suspect Roger beldo age 54 has no permanent address but had been temporarily staying with the victims beldo was booked into the St Louis County Jail on charges of probable cause second deegree murder formal charges from the St Louis County Attorney’s Office are expected in the coming days based on information obtained thus far in the investigation it appears that beldo acted alone in this incident there is no ongoing threat to the public our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families during this tragic time babit police were assisted by the Minnesota BCA St Louis County Sheriff’s Office elely and Deluth Police Department this remains an active invest vestigation I’m Neil Berg reporting for I trfnews.i234.me
