Hubbard County (trfnews.i234.me) — Victoria Whitefeather, 34, of Laporte, was arrested for felony first-degree DUI after a hit-and-run crash on March 14 at the intersection of Hubbard County Road 9 and U.S. Highway 71.
Whitefeather fled the scene but was later found asleep in her vehicle by deputies at her rural Laporte residence. She admitted to coming from a liquor store and failed sobriety tests. A subsequent vehicle search uncovered an open vodka bottle, marijuana, and prescription pills.
Whitefeather, who registered a .10 BAC, has a prior 2013 conviction for DUI-related vehicular homicide that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.
She is now facing new felony DUI charges.
