Langdon Man Faces Legal Delays in Alleged Indecent Exposure Case at Grand Cities Mall

GRAND FORKS (trfnews.i234.me) — Two weeks after a warrant was issued for his arrest, Jeffery Dalton Stanley, 56, from Langdon, has not been apprehended following allegations of indecent exposure at Grand Cities Mall in Grand Forks. The incident, reported on October 21, involved Stanley engaging in inappropriate behavior in a mall common area.

According to the affidavit, a mall security guard witnessed the incident but reported reluctance from bystanders to file a citizen’s arrest. Due to the misdemeanor nature of the charge, police require an arrest warrant in cases without direct observation by law enforcement.

Despite attempts to locate Stanley, authorities have been unable to apprehend him. Witnesses have expressed frustration with the lack of immediate arrest, citing concerns for public safety. Stanley, previously associated with a local hospital, could face up to 360 days in jail and a $3,000 fine if convicted.
