Lake Park (trfnews.i234.me) — Jesse Michael Dupree, 48, of Audubon, has been charged in Becker County District Court with felony second-degree burglary.
The charge stems from a reported residential burglary in rural Lake Park. According to court records, the case began on March 13. A Becker County deputy responded to a home on the 16000 block of 192nd Street.
The property owner told authorities that someone had entered the residence within the past few days. The owner also reported that Dupree had allegedly appeared at the property several times.
Court records state that game trail cameras captured Dupree at the property. The owner said he had allegedly been there three or four times.

Deputies later questioned Dupree about the incident. He first said he had not taken anything from the residence.
Authorities then told him they knew he had been at the property more than once. According to court records, Dupree replied, “I know, I was just checking it out.”

Dupree was arrested after the interview. Court records say he later admitted to taking a wooden shelf from the residence.
The charge filed against him is felony second-degree burglary. More information about Minnesota court cases can be found through the Minnesota Judicial Branch.
Released Without Bail
On March 16, Dupree was released without bail. His release came with conditions set by the court.
Those conditions include no trespassing at the reported burglary site. Court orders often restrict contact with victims or locations during pending cases.
Dupree’s next court appearance is scheduled for June 8. The hearing is set before District Judge Michelle W. Lawson.
The case remains active in Becker County District Court. A criminal charge is not a conviction. Dupree is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
