Kittson County (trfnews.i234.me) — Minnesota state vital records now list the death of 57-year-old Kevin Sele of Karlstad, Minnesota, as a suicide.

The update follows a multi-agency response. It began with a 911 call on November 1, 2025.

What happened on Nov. 1

In an earlier release, the Kittson County Sheriff’s Office described the call.

A dispatcher took the 911 call at 1:11 a.m.

Authorities said Sele reported an unknown person entered the home.

Sele said the person assaulted him and took his firearm, officials said.

The dispatcher then heard a gunshot, according to the release.

After that sound, Sele no longer responded to the dispatcher.

Multiple agencies were called to assist.

They included the Minnesota State Patrol and the Minnesota BCA Crime Scene Program.

  1. Did Kash Patel investigate this murder himself? Something doesn’t sit right with this one. Seems like there was another suicide the very next day up there too. 🤔
