Investigation Launched Into Red Lake Falls Incident Involving 2-Month-Old Baby on Life Support

RED LAKE FALLS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) The Red Lake Falls County Sheriff’s Department is investigating why a two-month old baby is now on life support.
Neil Berg here with some breaking news out of Red Lake Falls Minnesota Red Lake Falls is 37 miles east of Grand Forks we have a two month old a female girl who is on life support after authorities were called at 6:30 last night now the child’s biological mother is already in prison the child was being cared for by now described as caretakers so we had an incident and last night involving a possibly a shaken baby here well we got a call about a little after 6:30 p.m. from a resident and Red Lake Falls at apartment complex that wanted some assistance that their baby wasn’t breathing ambulance was paged a deputy deputy responded deputy arrived on scene and that you know there was a neighbor helping out they’re doing CPR on the child child was like a two month old female infant so the deputy you know performed CPR on the child until ambulance arrived and then they took over from there brought the kid to the Sanford ER and Thief River Falls and it was not much longer after that then they called LifeFlight out of Fargo Child was transported down there child is still alive and currently on life support that’s the last last we’ve heard okay is anybody still under investigation as this is the possible shaken baby incident dirt well we’re just investigating to try and find out exactly what happened and things like that so I mean you know takes time to get some medical records we are working with the with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension they’re doing some checking right now and stuff like that so I mean we are we want to find out exactly what happens I mean we talked to the caretakers and things like that so I mean nobody’s been charged with any crimes nobody’s been arrested we just want to want to get the get her facts straight before we move forward with anything else so is it can you call this suspicious I would say it’s out of the ordinary it’s it’s something that needs to be looked at looked at very closely and carefully in Red Lake Falls Minnesota I’m Neil Berg reporting for i-news TV
