Neil Berg here with some breaking news out of Thief River Falls Minnesota early on a Wednesday morning we have an apparent murder investigation underway this is on the grounds of digikey electronics part distributor see the BCA crime scene truck on the scene back there this apparently happened out in the parking lot here on Tuesday evening at this point not a lot of details yet officials have confirmed that one person is dead and another person is in custody so no danger to the public and that’s all officials have said so far they’re expected to release more details here in a bit now I did just talk with another person who seems to have some uh information about what happened he says it was two men who got in a fight in the parking lot out here this is uh basically what he called the smoking section out on the east side of the building this happened about nine o’clock on last night Tuesday night he says one of them one of those uh people picked up a sign or what he thought might have been a a parking sign and he hit the other person who was now deceased with it again that’s not confirmed uh but officials have confirmed one person is dead one person in custody and more details should be released here in uh a bit later this morning we’ll have that for you the minute they’re released in Thief River Falls Minnesota I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me

In a previous statement from Digi-Key, the company stated “Benitez-Estermerahas never worked at Digi-Key in any capacity, either directly or through a contractor. He also never sought, nor gained access into our facility.”
It's too bad a huge company like this has NO SECURITY for any of the working employees , and just anyone can just walk into this place of business and terrorize employees ! The management also just trivialize the "incident " and is more worried about bad press than the safety and security of its workers !

I've worked 2 seasons at Digi through Express Pros. It's the safest place I've ever been. The entire town and surrounding communities are extremely safe. I would go back. Crap happens everywhere.
