GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Grand Forks Police are investigating a crash involving a car and an electric scooter that occurred this Tuesday afternoon on South Washington Street. According to Sergeant Thompson, the incident happened just before 2 p.m. at the intersection of South Washington and 28th Avenue South.
The investigation revealed that a 2021 Kia was turning westbound onto 28th Avenue South from Washington when it was struck on the driver’s side door by a northbound electric scooter. The scooter driver was crossing 28th Avenue North in the crosswalk when the collision occurred. The operator of the scooter was transported to Altru Hospital for injuries.
