Grand Forks (trfnews.i234.me) — Emergency crews responded to an injury crash in Grand Forks just after 5:00 p.m. Monday.

The collision happened at the intersection of 32nd Avenue South and 31st Street. Early reports indicate at least two vehicles sustained heavy front-end damage.

An ambulance was called to the scene to assist those injured. The number of people hurt and the severity of injuries have not yet been confirmed.

Police and emergency personnel blocked part of the roadway as they worked to assist victims and investigate the crash. Drivers were advised to use caution when traveling through the area.

Authorities have not yet released details about what caused the collision. The Grand Forks Police Department is expected to provide further updates as the investigation continues.

According to the North Dakota Department of Transportation, distracted driving, speeding, and failure to yield are among the leading causes of crashes in the state.

This is a developing story. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
