In reference to the attempted homicide investigation over the past several days, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office has been made aware that a photograph of the victim has been released publicly by someone.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office did not release this image. Marcy’s Law may apply in this situation. To protect the victim’s privacy and preserve the integrity of the ongoing investigation, we respectfully request that the image not be published and that any existing photos containing this image be removed.
