Roseau County (trfnews.i234.me) – A disturbing domestic violence case has resulted in felony charges for Connor Ross Womiche, 33, of Roosevelt, Minnesota, after he allegedly issued death threats and assaulted the mother of his child.
According to the criminal complaint, on May 13, 2025, Womiche—believed to be in Kansas City at the time—sent the victim graphic messages threatening to kill her, with additional threats to expose nude photos online. The woman reported living in fear, stating he had shown up unannounced in the past.
Then, on June 7, a 911 call from a Roosevelt address led deputies to a scene with screaming in the background. The victim told police Womiche had choked her, thrown her to the ground by her hair, and destroyed her phone. She showed injuries consistent with the alleged attack. Womiche denied assaulting her, but had visible bite and scratch marks.
He now faces a felony charge of threats of violence and a misdemeanor charge of 5th-degree domestic assault.
