Identity Revealed: Driver Identified in Life-Threatening Rollover Crash near Crookston, MN

CROOKSTON, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – In an update on the harrowing rollover crash that occurred Thursday morning on Highway 75 near Crookston, Minnesota, the Minnesota State Patrol has identified the driver involved.

The victim has been identified as 20-year-old James Peter Schwarz from Alexandria, Minnesota. According to authorities, Schwarz sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash, which took place around 6:45 a.m. near the airport.

Schwarz was wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident, but alcohol is believed to have played a role in the crash. The State Patrol reports that Schwarz was traveling southbound on Highway 75 in a Ford Flex when he lost control of the vehicle. The car veered off the road and rolled over into the East ditch before coming to rest along the railroad tracks.

Emergency responders rushed Schwarz to Riverview Hospital in Crookston to receive treatment for his severe injuries.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing as authorities work to determine the circumstances that led to this tragic incident.
