House Fire in Rural Thief River Falls; No Injuries Reported

Pennington County, MN (trfnews.i234.me)—A house fire was reported at 7:27 a.m. Thursday at 20821 170th Ave. N.E., the residence of Kyle and Sara Beger in rural Thief River Falls. Fire Chief Rick Beier stated that the fire originated in a pickup truck located in the attached garage and subsequently spread to the rest of the house.

The occupants of the house, along with their pets, evacuated safely. A dog was initially unaccounted for but was later found safe and reunited with the family.

The Thief River Falls Fire Department responded to the scene, with mutual aid provided by Goodridge Area Fire & Rescue. Sanford Ambulance remained on standby, while the Marshall and Pennington County sheriff’s offices also assisted in the response.

Firefighters worked for approximately six and a half hours to contain the fire. No injuries were reported.
