WALCOTT, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – As reported Wednesday evening, 43-year-old Mark Crompton of Borup, Minnesota, was apprehended after a high-speed chase that began in Felton, Minnesota, and ended in Walcott, North Dakota. The pursuit concluded dramatically when Crompton’s vehicle caught fire in a field outside of Walcott. He was subsequently found hiding in a motor home.
Crompton was already wanted for a felony theft charge in Grand Forks related to the theft of tools. On May 26th, he evaded authorities during a search around Bobcat and the Flying J restaurant. However, his luck ran out as he now faces multiple charges and is in custody.
