FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – In a peculiar turn of events, Marshall Watson of Fargo finds himself in legal trouble after an unusual encounter at a convenience store. Watson is now facing criminal charges, including endangering by fire or explosion, preventing arrest, and refusing to halt.
The incident unfolded at a Holiday Station on North University Drive in Fargo on April 24th, around 9:05 p.m. Responding officers found Watson near propane tanks with a winter hat ablaze on the ground in front of him. Despite warnings from the officers, Watson persisted, claiming the fire was related to spiritual matters.
Ignoring the potential danger, Watson attempted to dispose of the burning hat near the propane tanks. When questioned by the officers, Watson identified himself as “God” and made threatening gestures towards them.
Subsequently, Watson was tased twice by law enforcement officers after refusing to comply with their instructions. He was eventually subdued and arrested after a struggle.
