NARRATIVE:
A single-vehicle rollover crash occurred when a 1998 Dodge Dakota traveling southbound on Highway 1, about a mile south of Hannaford, ND, ran off the roadway and overturned, landing on the passenger side. Both the driver and passenger sustained minor injuries and were transported to Cooperstown for medical attention. The driver, Jesse Pierce, faces misdemeanor charges for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) and refusal to submit to a chemical test (DUI-Refusal). The passenger, Tasha Courtade, was charged with possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. The ND Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
