Grand Forks, ND (trfnews.i234.me) — On April 20, 2025, a man offered a ride to Alexis Ashes, who appeared intoxicated. During the ride, Ashes became agitated, causing distress to the man’s dog. Concerned for his pet, the driver stopped the vehicle and stepped out to calm the animal. At that moment, Ashes allegedly moved into the driver’s seat and drove away with the car.

Ashes has been charged with felony theft of property in connection with this incident. The case is currently under investigation by the Grand Forks Police Department.
