Grand Forks woman, Jody Lynn Sherry-Berg Berg Charged After Incident on Las Vegas to Grand Forks Flight

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – A woman is charged after a fight on an airplane. According to court documents, on January 16th, officers responded to the Grand Forks Airport for an assault that occurred on an aircraft during a flight.

When the plane landed, the woman was removed by law enforcement and allegedly told police her name was Alyssa Hoverson.

The driver’s license in her possession is for Jody Lynn Sherry-Berg. According to the court documents, law enforcement positively identified her as Sherry-Berg. She is charged with providing false identifying information to mislead a law enforcement officer.

Grand Forks Police Sergeant stated that their department does not have jurisdiction over any incidents that occurred during the flight. The FBI was present at the scene and is handling the investigation into the alleged assault. As of Friday afternoon, no federal charges have been filed in connection with the assault.

Her initial appearance in court is scheduled for February 25th.
