Grand Forks Wednesday Evening Weather Forecast

good evening everybody i’m meteorologist justin storm bringing you my last und weather update we are going to have a few scattered showers this evening and those could push into the overnight hours but most of that will be staying to our south we are going to have a mild weekend with temperatures close to 60 and plenty of sunshine and as we go into next week temperatures are going to be back into the 60s again with a lot of sunshine but another chance of rain on wednesday we’ll take a look at that with your seven-day forecast up here in just a moment outside of grand forks we do have a few showers off to the west of our area we’re sitting at 53 degrees with variable winds around 5 miles an hour throughout our area taking a look at those temperatures across our region a little cooler down into southern minnesota where they got some rain activity right now mostly 50s for the rest of our area and a little bit warmer off to the western portion of north dakota approaching up on 60 degrees throughout that region winds for the most part aren’t too bad around 5 to 15 throughout our area and those will begin to calm down as we go overnight on satellite radar we do have a little bit of rain down in southern minnesota bringing some well-needed moisture down to the southern portion of the state as well as some scattered showers throughout the grand forks region as well as central north dakota and these showers are going to continue to work their way down to the southeast as they do that they will dissipate and clouds will as well decrease through the overnight hours it’s going to leave us with a partly cloudy night and that will continue into tomorrow we’ll have mostly sunny skies the winds are going to pick up though and as we go into the later portion of the afternoon we could see a few showers develop through the red river valley area those will quickly work their way out and it’s going to leave almost everybody with mostly clear skies overnight thursday in return that will let temperatures drop down to the upper 20s and lower 30s and we’ll stay clear for the day of friday with temperatures bouncing close to 60 degrees as we take a look at those temperatures and winds the winds will calm down tonight we’ll drop down to the lower 30s throughout much of our forecast region and as we go into tomorrow those winds will pick up around 10 to 30 miles an hour with temperatures bouncing back up into the 60s throughout much of our area as we go overnight we’ll remain breezy with temperatures dropping back to the lower 30s and upper 20s for tonight or for tonight we’ll have a low of 30 degrees it’ll be partly cloudy with a few chances of a few scattered showers for the early overnight hours north northwest winds at 5-10 and throughout our forecast region we have a few showers throughout the fargo and western minnesota through the central portion of the state slight chance of showers but those will quickly work their way on through everybody will have partly cloudy skies with lows in the 30 or the lower 30s to mid 30s and for tomorrow we’ll increase to the lower 60s a high of 62 it’ll be nice and warm but it is going to be windy with wind winds picking up out of the northwest at 10 to 20 gusting to 30. we’ll have a few chances for a few scattered showers in the later portion of the afternoon and then throughout our forecast region again mostly sunny to the west of us with temperatures in the upper 60s but the clouds will increase over the red river valley that’ll keep us a little cooler in the lower 60s and then off in northern minnesota sitting in those mid 50s as well and for our seven day forecast we’ll be close to 60 degrees on friday saturday and sunday with mostly sunny skies lows will be around freezing though and as we go into the middle of next week we are going to have temperatures bouncing back up into the mid 50s but another chance of rain as we go into wednesday
