Grand Forks Update: SUV Driver Cited in 32nd & Columbia Crash
Grand Forks ( trfnews.i234.me ) – We now have an update regarding the Thursday evening two-vehicle crash at 32nd Avenue South and Columbia Road in Grand Forks.
According to Sergeant Star of the Grand Forks Police Department, the crash happened when the driver of an SUV attempted a left-hand turn across 32nd Avenue and failed to yield. The SUV collided with a pickup truck traveling through the intersection.
Police say the female SUV driver was cited for failure to yield. She sustained minor injuries, including seat belt abrasions, but no serious injuries were reported. The driver of the pickup was not injured.
The crash slowed traffic in the busy intersection while emergency crews responded. Police cleared the scene after issuing the citation and confirming there were no further hazards.
