Grand Forks, North Dakota (trfnews.i234.me) — On April 25, 2025, at approximately 11:30 p.m., a serious motorcycle accident occurred at the intersection of South Washington Street and 40th Avenue South in Grand Forks. According to court documents, Scott Dion Bull of Devil’s Lake was driving under the influence when he failed to yield and turned in front of motorcyclist Carl Sawya. The collision resulted in severe injuries to Sawya.
Bull fled the scene but was soon located by police along with his damaged vehicle. A breathalyzer test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.154, nearly twice the legal limit of 0.08. He now faces felony charges, including duty in an accident involving injury and criminal vehicular injury.
