Grand Forks: Three-Vehicle Crash with Rollover on South Washington Street Injures One | trfnews.i234.me

Grand Forks, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – New details have been released about a three-vehicle rollover crash that occurred Friday morning at the intersection of South Washington Street and 40th Avenue South.

According to the Grand Forks Police Department, a 2016 Lincoln driven by a 38-year-old woman was traveling northbound when it crossed into the southbound lanes, colliding with a GMC Savannah van carrying 10 occupantsseven juveniles and three adults.

After the initial impact, the Lincoln continued forward, rolled onto its roof, and struck a 2020 Chevy Traverse occupied by one person.

The only reported injury was to the driver of the Lincoln, who required extrication from the overturned vehicle before being transported to Altru Hospital for treatment.

During the crash, two dogs escaped from the Lincoln. As of Friday afternoon, one dog has been found, while the second remains missing.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is asked to contact the Grand Forks Police Department.
