Grand Forks, North Dakota (trfnews.i234.me) A Reynolds, North Dakota man is facing a long list of charges after a chaotic arrest in Grand Forks.
Chase Derril Bring, of Reynolds, is charged with multiple offenses. Court documents outline a Jan. 1 incident that began as a disorderly conduct call. The allegations come from a statement of probable cause. Charges are accusations until proven in court.
Disorderly conduct call and knife report
According to the report, officers responded at about 5:17 p.m. on Jan. 1. The call was for disorderly conduct in progress near 207 South Fourth Street.
Dispatch told officers a man had a knife in his hand. The report says the man was jumping on and kicking a vehicle near the address.
Officers located a vehicle registered to Bring. The report says it was stopped in the intersection of Bruce Avenue and South Fourth Street.
An officer then saw Bring walking away from the vehicle, according to the report.

THC admission and confrontation
While speaking with officers, Bring admitted he had used THC, the report states. The report says he began yelling and became verbally aggressive.
Bring told officers he was cold and wanted to sit in a patrol vehicle to warm up, according to the report.
As an officer escorted him to a patrol vehicle, the report says Bring ran toward another sergeant. The report states Bring said, “Give me your gun.”
The report says he then turned toward other officers and demanded a gun again.
Kicking, damaging, and spitting
Officers placed Bring in handcuffs, according to the report. The report says he began to kick and struck an officer in the leg.
As officers escorted him toward a marked unit, the report says Bring kicked the rear passenger quarter panel of the vehicle.
Bring was told he was under arrest and placed in the rear seat of a patrol car, the report states.
The report says the window was rolled down during the interaction. Investigators allege that Bring spat out the window multiple times. The report states that two officers were struck by the spit.
Charges filed
Bring is now charged with three felony counts, including simple assault, contact by bodily fluids, and attempted contact by bodily fluids.
He also faces misdemeanor counts of preventing arrest and disorderly conduct.
