Grand Forks Resident Faces Charges for Threatening EGF Police Officer

EAST GRAND FORKS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A Grand Forks man is facing a felony charge for allegedly threatening an East Grand Forks Police Officer.
twenty-nine-year-old stephen hossauer of grand forks has been charged with felony threats of violence and three gross misdemeanor charges of dwi refusal to submit to testing and carrying a pistol without a permit in polk county district court according to court documents on christmas eve at 3 07 p.m and east grand forks police were dispatched to 421 gateway drive northeast for a two vehicle traffic accident the officer stated hassawer appeared to be under the influence had him perform a field sobriety test and he was arrested hassara stated he was armed with a firearm and an officer removed a loaded pistol with a round in the chamber from his waistband at the police station hasaur did a preliminary breath test which allegedly registered at .134 and he was heard allegedly making comments regarding his past of killing people from somalia one of the other people involved in the car accident may have been from somalia then he failed to complete alcohol testing and according to court documents on his way to the polk county jail he allegedly threatened an officer saying it was okay they took his guns because he was getting new ones for christmas the officer asked if that was a threat and hassaur allegedly stated it was a promise i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
