Grand Forks Police Officer Sustains Injuries During Arrest of East Grand Forks Woman

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) A Grand Forks Police Officer suffered some minor injuries during the arrest of an East Grand Forks woman who’s now facing a string of criminal charges.
with 42 year-old Angela Carter of East Grand Forks is facing a string of charges in Grand Forks according to court documents on Sunday at 8:55 a.m. officers responded to a report of an unwanted subject at a Grand Forks residence as police arrived a dispatcher told them unlawful entry had been made into the residence and a woman could be heard screaming police stated de Carter was striking a female victim and they pulled her away she struggled with police and raised her hands in what police stated was an attempt to strike an officer she was immediately pinned to the wall and forced to the ground while she continued to struggle an officer received scrapes to his hand and a three-inch laceration on the neck Angela Carter has been charged with three felonies of burglary simple assault and preventing arrest plus a misdemeanor charge of simple assault I’m Neil Berg reporting for i-news TV
