Grand Forks County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – Two people in Grand Forks are facing felony charges after police say they were squatting in a homeless transitional apartment. The incident occurred on September 1st at 11:03 p.m. at LRAV on First.

According to court records, Angela War Club and Reggie Littlewolf were found inside an apartment that did not belong to them. Officers were dispatched to the building after receiving a report of a trespass in progress.

Investigators contacted the apartment’s legal tenant, who was currently in jail. The tenant confirmed that War Club and Littlewolf had no right to be in the residence. Officers then arrested both individuals at the scene.

The pair is now charged with felony criminal trespass. If convicted, they could face prison time and fines under North Dakota law. Trespass cases involving residential property are treated as serious crimes, particularly when the rightful tenant has not granted permission.

Officials note that unauthorized occupation of transitional housing can put a strain on already limited resources for those in need. The case highlights challenges faced by shelters and community programs that provide temporary housing for vulnerable populations.
