Grand Forks Nursing Home Employee Tests Positive for Coronavirus; Facility Houses 550 Residents

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) An employee of Valley Senior Living in Grand Forks has tested positive for COVID-19. The company has 550 residents at 3 different nursing homes in Grand Forks.
Neil Berg here in Grand Forks on a Tuesday evening with some breaking kovat 19 News we’ve had an employee of Valley senior living test positive for coronavirus the company runs three nursing homes in Grand Forks that house some 550 residents the employee who tested positive worked here at this facility on Columbia Road the emergency contacts for all 550 residents who live at Valley Senior Living three nursing homes in Grand Forks have already received a text alerting them to the situation yes as of today at approximately 2:40 we received confirmation of one employee at Valley senior living on Columbia who has tested positive for Colby 19 the employee who tested positive last works on April 16th and upon learning that that employees household member was being tested for Colton 19 due to an outbreak within their workplace the valley employee was placed on paid leave as a precaution at that time the household member was confirmed positive for koban 19 on Saturday April 18th and the valley employee was tested on the next day the employee remains asymptomatic as of today April 21st and we are working to continue to stop and control the spread of Cova 19 at all of our locations or in close communication with the North Dakota Department of Health to ensure that we are taking the appropriate precautions for both our residents and for our staff at this time there are no residents at Valley senior living communities other Valley senior living communities that have confirmed cases of koba 19 including valley senior living on 40 seconds and Tufte manor there are no other employees that have tested positive for cocaine 19 in our communities and our thoughts and prayers are with our entire community as we struggle with cope in nineteen Sally as you started to deal with us at I know one of the people’s first questions with their family members in one of these residents will that mean everyone has to be tested an hour that’s not how it works you know we are working with the North Dakota Department of Health on that exact topic at this time and we should have more details by tomorrow morning in Grand Forks I’m Neil Berg reporting for i-news TV
