good evening und and welcome to und’s weather update my name is peyton braun and i’ll be bringing you your forecast a windy week is in store for us here in grand forks as well as a cooler midweek an ideal fall weekend is in store for us here in the valley as well take a look outside right now we have some high-level cirrus clouds painting our skies and a temperature of around 74 degrees winds are out of the south right now at 14 miles an hour take a look across the rest of the country here we have nice and cooler temperatures across the west coast with portland and great falls at 57 degrees midsection of the country a lot warmer with temperatures in the 70s national satellite and radar showing not much going on across the country here just a low pressure system hanging out over the rockies high pressure across the rest of the country here keeping our skies fairly clear take a look closer to our neck of the woods here nice and clear skies to end our monday but as we go through our evening tonight clouds will start to increase to start our day on tuesday tuesday our skies will start to clear as we make our way through the day here a couple of showers and snow showers out in rapid city as we make our way through tuesday night and into wednesday those storms will start to increase and move closer and closer our way but we’ll stay just to our south throughout the day on wednesday winds right now are out of the south very strong through the valley with winds out of winds around that 15 to 20 mile an hour range our temperatures across the region are very warm for today with temperatures in those mid to upper 70s fargo saw 78 and jamestown 76 grand forks specifically today saw a high of around 73 degrees a warm and windy day with those winds out of the south at 10 to 15 gusting to 30. tonight our winds will switch from the south to the north northwest at 5-10 gusting to 20 and our temperature will dip down into those low 40s we’ll have some clouds throughout the evening as well tomorrow across the region we’re going to have nice and cool temperatures with those temperatures around upper 40s at too low 50s although this slide says it says it’ll be around 51 degrees in grand forks it’ll seem more like 47 degrees with an overcast sky and gusty winds out of the north at 15 to 20 gusting to 30. seven day forecast showing that we’re going to have nice and cool temperatures across the region for this next week here temperatures staying below 50 with some clouds hanging out with us for the rest of the week thank you for tuning in to und’s weather update my name is peyton braun
