Grand Forks County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Grand Forks man is facing serious legal repercussions after allegedly assaulting a paramedic at a local rehabilitation center.
According to court documents, on May 18, 2025, at approximately 10:19 p.m., officers were dispatched to Centre, Inc., a drug rehabilitation facility in Grand Forks, following reports that Randall Delapaz was unconscious. Upon arrival, as emergency personnel attended to him, Delapaz allegedly regained consciousness and slapped a paramedic across the face.
Delapaz was promptly arrested and is now charged with felony simple assault of an emergency worker.
