GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Mark James Boyer, 39, from Grand Forks, has been sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to seven Class C felonies. His charges include terrorizing, domestic violence causing serious bodily injury, interference with a 911 call, simple assault on an officer, preventing arrest, methamphetamine possession, and drug paraphernalia possession.
On June 13, police responded to a domestic assault report. Boyer initially refused to come outside, prompting officers to enter the residence and use OC spray to subdue him. Boyer will serve two years in custody with credit for 44 days already served and has been sentenced to an additional two years of supervised probation.
