Grand Forks (trfnews.i234.me) – A Grand Forks man, Demencio Venecia, is facing felony charges after allegedly threatening an officer’s life during a traffic stop on November 26th.
The incident began when Venecia was pulled over in Grand Forks. According to court records, an officer noticed a meth pipe in plain view inside his vehicle. As a result, Venecia was arrested on suspicion of drug-related offenses.
During the arrest, Venecia allegedly made threatening remarks to the officer. He reportedly said, “Wait until I find out where you live, you piece of [expletive], I will effing kill you, [expletive].”
Venecia is now charged with two felony counts of terrorizing and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. The case is still under investigation, and authorities have not released further details about his prior criminal history.
