Grand Forks Man Caught With Meth

Grand Forks County (trfnews.i234.me) – A Grand Forks man is now facing serious drug charges following a Sunday morning welfare check. According to court documents, officers found Mitchell A. Wilebski passed out behind the wheel of his truck in Grand Forks.Authorities soon discovered that Wilebski had an outstanding warrant in Minnesota for drug possession. During a search of his vehicle, investigators found more than 12 grams of methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia and unidentified pills. The discovery led to new felony charges.

Wilebski is now charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance. Each of these charges carries severe legal consequences if convicted.

This incident highlights ongoing drug-related problems across the region. Methamphetamine remains a leading concern for law enforcement agencies in both North Dakota and Minnesota. According to the Drug Enforcement Administration, meth continues to fuel addiction and criminal activity nationwide.
