Grand Forks Man Accused of Fraudulently Taking Refund Check for Counterfeit Spin

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) A Grand Forks man allegedly used a refund check to create a counterfeit one.
a 31 year old douglas zigelman of grand forks has been charged with felony counterfeiting he’s shown here in an earlier booking photo according to court documents he received a refund from one business and then took the routed number from that refund check and allegedly created a new check for 2500 that was cashed at the river forks credit union the sham was found when the check wound up back at oleris bank where the original bish business that issued the refund check to zigelman has an account as of this thursday evening zigelman is not in custody and police have not been able to make contact with him he has a long list of prior convictions for theft of property i’m Neil Berg reporting for eye news dot tv
