Grand Forks (trfnews.i234.me) – Breaking news out of Grand Forks on this Wednesday evening: A juvenile has been detained and taken to the juvenile detention center following an incident at the Winterland Apartments on 5th Avenue North.
According to Sergeant Star of the Grand Forks Police Department, the incident occurred around 7:00 p.m. and involved a group of juveniles. Authorities say this location has been a frequent site of police activity in recent weeks, reportedly due to tensions between different groups living at the apartments.
The juvenile was detained on a drug charge. No additional details have been released at this time.
