Grand Forks Firefighters Respond to Two Sunday Morning Incidents; $10,000 in Garage Damages, Cause Still Unknown

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) Grand Forks firefighters were on the scene of 2 different incidents Sunday morning. Bat. Chief Chuck Marcott says the garage fire caused $10,000 damage. Cause remains under investigation.
Neil Berg here in grand forks where it’s been a busy morning for grand forks fire crews uh responding to a couple of different calls the first one was right before 7am at 2120 library lane all fire stations and all through all fire stations and all through 2120 library lane for a structure fire residential there’s heavy smoke coming from the garages to the north of here and as you can see it looks like some pretty heavy fire damage to at least one garage here you can see the daylight coming through the roof there fire crews still on the scene didn’t hear any reports of any injuries then at 10 30 a.m another fire call in downtown grand forks all fire stations in altru eight south third street eight south third street for a water flow alarm now as you heard there a report of a water flow alarm on south third street here in downtown grand forks it sounded from radio traffic like a sprinkler system had been tripped uh crews still busy on the scene at both incidents here downtown uh mopping up some water uh we’ll have more details later today check back for that i’m Neil Berg reporting for eye news dot tv
