Grand Forks County, ND (trfnews.i234.me) — On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at approximately 5:45 p.m., a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of North Washington Street and 8th Avenue North in Grand Forks. According to Sergeant Florine of the Grand Forks Police Department, 34-year-old Emmanuel Roberts Johnson of Grand Forks failed to yield while entering North Washington Street, resulting in a collision with a pickup truck.
Johnson was cited for failure to yield and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI). Both his passenger and the driver of the pickup truck were transported to Altru Hospital with minor injuries.
