On March 25, 2025, law enforcement conducted a probation search at the residence of Nathan Charles Reis, located at 2815 20th Avenue South in Grand Forks. During the search, officers uncovered:

These findings led to Reis facing felony charges, including possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Roommate’s Involvement
The search also implicated Reis’s roommate, Jeremy Scott Suedel. In his room, officers discovered 1.9 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Throughout the encounter, Suedel exhibited disruptive behavior, including outbursts of profanity and a threatening remark towards a detective, stating, “I can’t wait till I get out I’m going to find you.” Consequently, Suedel faces three felony charges: terrorizing, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
