Grand Forks County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Grand Forks family says a DoorDash delivery ended with a “confirmed” photo, but no pizza at their door.

What the video shows

The family shared a home security video that appears to show a driver walking up to the door with the order.

In the footage, the driver takes a photo to confirm the drop-off.

Seconds later, the driver is seen leaving with the food, the family says.

The family told TRF News they never received the pizza after the photo was taken.

Family reports the incident

The family says they contacted DoorDash about the missing order.

It was not clear on Monday if the driver had been contacted.

It was also not clear if a full refund was issued.

DoorDash recommends reporting incidents like this as soon as possible to its support team.

Tips for customers

If an order shows “delivered” but you did not get it, act fast.

Save the delivery photo and any doorbell video.

Take a screenshot of the order page with the time stamp.

Report the issue through the DoorDash app’s help options for that order.

If DoorDash does not resolve it, you can contact your bank or card issuer.

The Federal Trade Commission says card users have right to dispute billing errors.

The FTC says disputes often must be made within 60 days of the first bill with the error.

What happens next

TRF News is not naming the driver because no charge has been announced.

DoorDash and the family have not released the driver’s identity in public reports.

Anyone who believes they were a fraud victim can also report it to the FTC.
