GRAND FORKS COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) — Two men from Grand Forks and Fargo are facing felony drug trafficking charges following separate law enforcement incidents earlier this week.

According to court documents, Austin James Bercier of Grand Forks faces three felony counts of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, fentanyl, and marijuana.

Police say Bercier was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in Grand Forks on November 5. During the stop, officers allegedly found 110 grams of methamphetamine, 4 grams of fentanyl, and 33 grams of marijuana. He was arrested and charged at the scene.

In a separate incident, Robert Anthony White of Fargo is facing four felony charges, including possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and possession of methamphetamine, a prescription drug, and drug paraphernalia.

Court records show that on November 7, White was pulled over in Grand Forks for driving without lights on his license plate. Officers learned he was already on parole. A search of his vehicle led to the discovery of methamphetamine, Xanax pills, a digital scale, $344 in cash, and other drug-related items.

Both suspects were booked into the Grand Forks County Correctional Center. Their cases remain under investigation.

Fentanyl continues to be a major concern for local authorities. According to the DEA, even small amounts can be deadly, and trafficking arrests have risen sharply across North Dakota in 2025.
