Grand Forks (trfnews.i234.me) — A heavy police presence was seen Thursday afternoon on the 900 Block of South 17th Street as authorities engaged in a tense standoff.
Ring camera footage from a neighbor’s home captured the scene as law enforcement attempted to serve warrants on David Gomez, who was wanted for probation violations. Gomez refused to exit the residence, prompting a standoff that lasted approximately 45 minutes.
Despite the tension, the situation ended without violence as officers successfully took Gomez into custody.
