Grand Forks County (trfnews.i234.me) – Vanessa Rae Nielsen, a resident of Grafton, North Dakota, is facing serious criminal charges following an incident on May 3rd in Grand Forks. According to court documents, Grand Forks police responded to a disturbance involving juveniles. The juveniles reported having video evidence of Nielsen driving and striking a female victim.
Upon locating Nielsen, officers conducted a blood alcohol test, which reportedly returned a result of 0.14%, exceeding the legal limit of 0.08%. The victim was observed to have a visible limp, indicating potential injury.
Nielsen has been charged with felonies of reckless endangerment and aggravated assault, as well as a misdemeanor DUI. Court documents do not specify the motive behind the incident.
