Grand Forks County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Grand Forks man is lucky to be alive today after an absolutely horrifying experience in the city’s waste disposal system. It all started last night when the unidentified man sought shelter inside a dumpster to sleep.
His nightmare began when a garbage truck collected the dumpster, compacting the waste—including him—before dumping everything at the Grand Forks landfill. Things took an even more terrifying turn when a massive payloader scooped up the garbage, tossing it onto a growing pile of trash.
Miraculously, a worker spotted the man after he had already been through this horrifying ordeal. He was found shivering, complaining of a sore arm, and struggling to recall much of what happened.
Against all odds, he survived one of the most extreme cases of being “taken out with the trash.”
