Grand Forks County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Grand Forks couple got a frightening wake-up call in the early hours of May 2nd. According to court documents, at approximately 1:13 a.m., the pair heard loud banging on their door and immediately contacted police.
When officers arrived at the scene near the reported home, they discovered Tristan R. Morin leaning against the couple’s house in the backyard. Further investigation revealed that the home’s screen door had been damaged. The couple stated the door was intact before they went to bed.
As a result, Tristan R. Morin is now facing serious charges, including felony attempted burglary and misdemeanor criminal mischief. Formal court proceedings are expected to follow.
